AI service terms

Last updated: March 09, 2026

Note: If these Terms, Policies, or Agreements are available in multiple languages, and any discrepancies exist between translations, the English version shall prevail.

1. Scope of the AI service

BabySea provides AI image and video generation through its dashboard, Playground, SDK, and public API. BabySea receives customer requests in a BabySea-defined schema and may route them through one or more supported third-party inference providers.

Operational details for the current API and routing model are described in API and inference and AI providers policy.

2. Input and output

In these AI Service Terms:

  • "Input" means prompts, files, parameters, or other content you submit for generation.
  • "Output" means the media and related generation result data returned through BabySea.

As between you and BabySea, your Input and Output remain part of your Customer content as described in the Terms of use, subject to the rights BabySea needs to route, process, store, secure, transmit, and otherwise operate the service.

You acknowledge that Output may include files, metadata, error states, status changes, provider identifiers, and other generation-related records made available through the service.

3. Customer responsibility for AI use

You are responsible for:

  • The legality of your Input and your use of Output.
  • Obtaining all rights and permissions needed for submitted files, prompts, and downstream use cases.
  • Reviewing and validating Output before using it in production, public distribution, regulated contexts, or customer-facing experiences.
  • Making any disclosures required by law or by your own contractual obligations when AI-generated content is used in your product or workflow.

You are also responsible for making sure your own users, customers, employees, and contractors use BabySea-generated Output in a lawful and appropriately reviewed way.

4. Output limitations

Because AI systems are probabilistic and provider-backed, Output may:

  • Be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or inconsistent.
  • Differ across runs even when inputs are similar.
  • Resemble output generated for another customer.
  • Be subject to provider-side moderation, restrictions, or failure conditions.

BabySea does not guarantee that Output is unique, factually correct, fit for a specific purpose, or free from third-party claims.

Customers must not rely on Output as legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or otherwise high-risk advice without appropriate human review and independent validation.

5. Provider-backed execution

BabySea may satisfy your request by routing it through a supported provider chosen by the current route configuration, provider order, and service-health logic. Some routes complete inline, while others rely on provider callbacks, BabySea polling, or BabySea webhooks to finalize status and delivery.

Provider availability, routing order, cancellation behavior, timeout behavior, and delivery method may change over time.

Nothing in these AI Service Terms guarantees that any specific provider, model, route, or generation capability will remain available for any minimum period unless BabySea expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

6. Prohibited AI use

You may not use BabySea AI features to:

  • Generate or distribute unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful content.
  • Infringe third-party intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights.
  • Create or distribute content intended to defraud, impersonate, harass, exploit, or materially harm others.
  • Use the service in high-risk contexts where failure could reasonably cause death, bodily injury, or critical harm without appropriate safeguards and separate written approval.
  • Violate the AI principles, AI providers policy, or any provider-side restrictions applicable to the route you use.

BabySea may investigate suspected misuse and may suspend affected accounts, API keys, routes, or outputs where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with law, or protect the service and other customers.

7. Service operation and records

BabySea may retain and process Input, Output, generation metadata, webhook metadata, and related operational records as needed to provide the service, enforce these terms, secure the platform, support customers, comply with law, and operate retention and audit workflows described in Data lifecycle.

Customers are responsible for exporting or storing any Output or records they need beyond the retention behavior currently offered by the product or separately agreed in writing.

8. No separate training promise in these Terms

These AI Service Terms do not create a separate model-training license for BabySea beyond the rights needed to operate the service. If BabySea introduces an opt-in feedback or training-related workflow in the future, BabySea may describe that workflow in product-specific terms, notices, or updated policies.

Unless BabySea explicitly states otherwise in a separate notice or agreement, customers should not interpret these Terms as a promise that BabySea will fine-tune a model on their data, isolate a provider model for them, or reserve dedicated inference capacity for them.

9. Conflicts

If there is any conflict between these AI Service Terms and the main Terms of use, the Terms of use control unless BabySea expressly states otherwise in a separate written agreement.
